“ It's got a charm, and work in progress. If you stop in, you will be back. Prices are great! Good food, big portion. Nice staff that's genuinely nice. ”
“ Traveling from CA to MO. Needed to feed the fam and looked up reviews. Not bad! So we stopped. Super sweet staff! Food was homestyle kitchen! "Hot Mama" burger is hot! Good stuff! Chunky Chicken is a great little Sammie! Big Boy Burger is ginormous. Pickle fries! Yes please! This is a gem! Everything was great. Except for the restrooms that I am sure belong to the gas station. They literally smell like sewage. ”
“ We stopped here for a quick bite on our way to California. It was already 9pm and few places were still open. The service was fast and the food was delicious. Big portions and reasonable prices! If you are driving along the route 66 this is the place! ”
“ This was the best TexMex food we've ever had. Everything had so much authentic homemade flavor. I really loved the refried beans, I could have gotten a to go container just of that. The shredded chicken enchiladas were savory and I liked the flavor of the corn tortillas. The chicken taco was crispy and fresh. The chili relleno was perfectly cooked to perfection with a nice relleno sauce on top with peppers and spices in it. The salsa was perfect and completely homemade, it actually had good spice to it which is so hard to find. Even the chips were seasoned, I've never seen this and I loved it. Every time we drive through we're going to make a point to stop here. The restaurant dining area is very nice with indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of semi truck parking and even 2 showers that are available. ”
“ Oh my!! I'm originally from New Mexico and moved aways many years ago. I long for green chile all the time. I found myself driving through NM and couldn't think of anything else but a green chile bacon cheese burger. Lisa's did not disappoint. Exactly what I wanted. Oh so good! Burger was amazing and the fries where just as good. ”
“ Absolutely amazing. Let me debunk the retards leaving the bad reviews about the breakfast burrito. “It’s not big enough”? Really? It’s been the same burrito for years. It’s actually enough for 2 people. See picture. “It’s not enough green chili”? Really? Haha omg it’s got so much green chili sauce. And if you want more just ask for a side. I don’t understand how people complain about something that is absolutely amazing. I would drive 1000 miles just to get the breakfast burrito. The bacon inside is perfect and crispy and quality. The green chili sauce is off the hook. Seriously. Perfect cooked hash browns, hoke made tortilla. Quality cheese. Thanks to the restaurant staff and owner. ”
“ I do not know what others are ordering, i have been coming here for 20 years. Only complaint i can make is for their salads, they use a shredded lettuce, i like my lettuce in salad to be chunkier and leafier. But other than that the food has always been hot fresh and tasty. Staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful Thanks ”
“ Best omelet on our trip across 40! ”
